Warner Bros. COO Shauna Spenley has stated that Game of Thrones fans have long-term expectations and don't want to wait for every installment. Despite the main series ending seven years ago, there are still several spin-offs, including A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms and House of the Dragon season 3. The first Game of Tyrion movie, set to focus on Aegon the Conqueror, was recently announced. Despite not much being publicly known about the movie, it has been confirmed that Andor writer Beau Willimon is penning the script. The wait for The Winds of Winter is set to overtake the wait for all five books combined.
