The Polk Audio Atrium 5 speakers are a good investment in an outdoor speaker system for outdoor listening, as portable Bluetooth speakers are not practical for setting up an outdoor environment at home. The speakers are designed for a permanent solution, as they require an amplifier to work and connect to the amplifier through speaker wire, unlike most audiophile speakers. The design of the speakers is understated, with a mesh speaker grille covering the 5-inch woofer and three-quarter-inch tweeter. They come in either black or white and come with mounting brackets for vertical or horizontal installation. Polk Audio also claims to be "All-Weather Certified" for their ability to withstand extreme weather conditions. However, the bass response on the Atrium5 is not bad, with the larger the driver, the deeper bass response. If you want a full-range audio experience, you should still get the Atria Sub100, which can extend the bass.
