Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel compared President Donald Trump's recent news announcement to that of King Ralph, a 1991 John Goodman comedy about an American who became king of England after the royal family was lost in an accident. Kimmel compared the news to the fact that the president had posted a story suggesting he and Charles might be related. The president and first lady have both called for ABC to fire Kimmel for a joke about Melania Trump's appearance as an expectant widow. The first lady responded by calling Kimmel's words "corrocious" and calling for action against him.
