Lakers’ Luke Kennard bursts out of shadows in big way, saves winning streak

The Lakers' win streak was on the line when Luke Kennard stepped up to save the team's winning streak. With the Magic up 104-102 with one second left, Marcus Smart was searching for LeBron James or Luka Doncic for the inbounds pass, but instead chose to pass the ball to Kennard, who has the best 3-point percentage in the league. The Lakers have now won 12 of their last 13 games, including nine straight, and are now considered championship contenders. The last time the Lakers played against the Magic, the game ended in a close game, with DoncIC giving up an open game-winner instead of giving up on James.
