Oscar-Winning 'Happy Feet' In Development As Broadway Musical

The 2006 Oscar-winning animated film "Happy Feet" is being developed as a Broadway-bound musical, directed by two-time Tony winner Michael Arden. The project was announced by Tony-winning producer Dori Berinstein and includes book writer Douglas Lyons, choreographer Ayodele Casel, and Lauren Yalango-Grant & Christopher “Cree” Grant. The musical will feature songs from the film and a wide range of chart-topping favorites. The design team includes Tony Award-winning set designer Dane Laffrey, costume designer Susan Hilferty, lighting designer Natasha Katz, puppet designer Basil Twist, and music supervisor Jackson Teeley.
