Fitness influencer Malibu Fit Maxx, whose real name is Lee Markham, has confessed to lying about a past military injury, which he claims to have sustained while on active duty. Markham had previously claimed that he suffered facial injuries related to an improvised explosive device, or IED, while on duty. He addressed the claim on Instagram and stated that he is deeply proud of serving in the military between 2005 and 2010 and takes full responsibility for his actions. Some followers responded with forgiveness and understanding.
