Francis J. Kearse III, an Ohio doctor accused of posing as a "sugar daddy" online and offering teen girls with vape pens and petty cash in exchange for sex, was found dead from a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound on March 27. He was due in court for arraignment for charges related to his alleged sexual relationship with a 16-year-old girl. The age of consent in Ohio is 16 and rape in the Buckeye State is only defined as non-consensual sex or any sex with minors under 13. Despite being released on his own recognizance bond, Kearse was ordered to stay off social media as part of his bond conditions.
