Most of Colorado experienced the warmest winter on record in history, according to the National Centers for Environmental Information (NEC), with 49 of the state's 64 counties experiencing the highest winter months in at least 131 years. The high temperatures have raised concerns about potential disruptions to ski seasons, water supplies, and potential wildfires. An unusual March heat dome is expected to cover the Western U.S.
