Motorola's new Razr lineup is set to be announced, with the Razr Ultra follow-up and the new $1,500 Razr Fold. However, Motorola has fallen behind in key areas such as long-term software support for its $1000-plus device. This is a crucial issue as electronics prices rise due to tariff concerns, the cost of memory components or inflation. Motorola's Motorola Signature model, released in international markets earlier this year, includes many of the specs for the upcoming Razr fold, including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, a silicon-carbon battery, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The Razr Ultr may be well positioned to bring improvements such as a thinner design, faster charging and more software support stateside.
