Billionaire co-founder of Google, Sergey Brin, has endorsed rival candidates in California's gubernatorial race, including Fox News contributor Steve Hilton and centrist Democrat Matt Mahan. This comes after Brin moved his primary residence out of California due to a proposal by a health-care workers union to impose a one-time 5% tax on the wealth of California's billionaires. Both Hilton and Mahan have opposed the proposal. Brin has also contributed $20 million to a pro-business political organization, Building a Better California, which is spending heavily to combat the proposed wealth tax.
