Murder weapon destruction bill revived at Arizona Capitol

A bill that would allow families to decide if a murder weapon is destroyed instead of being sold back to the public has been revived at the Arizona Legislature. Julie Erfle testified before the House Federalism, Military Affairs and Elections Committee, hoping to revive the proposal. The bill, which initially had overwhelming support, was pulled before a vote despite Erfle's testimony. If it passes out of committee, it would need to pass both the House and Senate before heading to the governor's desk for a signature.
