A woman, Amy Lynn Mickelson, has been arrested in Salt Lake, Utah, for allegedly killing three people in a head-on collision in 2024. She was driving her BMW sedan across the center line and hit a Toyota Sienna minivan, killing three of the passengers. The remaining occupants of the vehicle, all of whom were children ages 5-16, were treated for serious injuries. Detectives from the Arizona Department of Public Safety found and arrested her outside a convenience store on March 19. They are awaiting extradition to Yavapai County.
