Cemetery Clean Up Day Held To Honor Veterans In Stonington

The free event will be held at the Thomas Miner Cemetery in Stonington, Massachusetts, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with assistance from the America 250 Committee, the Town’s Cemetery Commission, and the Abigail Hinman Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The event will also feature a discussion about the life and service of two Revolutionary War veterans buried in the cemetery. All cleaning supplies are provided for participants.
