A patient at Tewksbury State Hospital has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon following an altercation. The incident occurred at the hospital's Nichols Building, which houses a second-level detox facility run by Beth Israel Lahey Health. The person involved reportedly has 129 entries on his criminal record.
