Maul – Shadow Lord, the Star Wars show, is also featuring the return of Marrok, the mysterious Inquisitor introduced in Ahsoka. This is the first time we'll see Marrook properly unleashed in the Imperial era of the show. The show is set before Ahsok on the StarWars timeline, making it set before the Ahsoches. The supervising director Brad Rau, writer Matt Michnovetz, and executive producer Athena Yvette Portillo have discussed the casting of A.J. LoCascio and the creative team behind Maul, who also mentioned Marrak's ability to play a significant role in the show's story. The new show, which starts streaming on Disney Plus on April 6, will be followed by two episodes until May 4 (aka Star Wars Day).
