Teen Driver Apologizes at Vigil for High School Senior Killed in Prom Night Crash

The driver of the car involved in a fatal car crash that killed 18-year-old high school senior Patience Price after prom has apologized at a vigil for the late teen. The vehicle involved in the crash, which occurred on Saturday, March 28, ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, identified as the senior at Chapel Hill High School, expressed his apologies and a prayer over the deceased girl. His mom, Kimberly Jones, encouraged the crowd to embrace forgiveness and love following the crash. Over $16,000 has been raised through a GoFundMe campaign by Jones, with over $15,000 already raised.
