Electric fleet truck brand Workhorse has reduced its prices for a Workhorse W56 step van by nearly $60,000, allowing commercial fleet operators to purchase a nearly $600,000 less than the previous price. The announcement was made by Ohio-based delivery and logistics firm Purolator, which has placed an order for 100 units. This is the fourth order for Puralator in a number of years and represents a significant step forward in their partnership with Workhorse. The timing of this deal coincides with rising gas and diesel prices, which have exacerbated commercial fleet volatility. Workhorse's promotional pricing is available through its existing dealer network until the end of September.
