The U.S. Attorney for Minnesota, Daniel Rosen, has called for a federal judge to step aside from an immigration case due to concerns over the appearance of impartiality. This comes after Rosen accused Judge Jeffrey Bryan of not disclosing his marriage to Minnesota's Solicitor General Liz Kramer, who is leading the state's lawsuit against the Trump administration's immigration crackdown. Rosen's request comes in response to a habeas petition filed on behalf of immigrant Tong Xiong, seeking his release from custody after his arrest on Dec. 27.
