2-year project begins on major West Side interchange

The Ohio Department of Transportation is beginning a two-year project to replace a bridge and repaint another at the Interstate 71 and I-480 interchange in Cleveland. The project will begin Sunday and will involve various lane restrictions and traffic shifts under I-71 through July 2028. The replacement of the bridge will take place at approximately 8 p.m.
