Hollywood has brought in central Kentucky for filming of a new holiday movie called "Silver Bells Christmas," which is set to air on the Great American Family Network. The film was filmed in downtown Paris, which was transformed into a Christmas wonderland with Christmas trees, a stage and decorations. The casting director, Cindy Kaiser, said Kentucky's film tax incentives make it more stable for independent filmmakers to shoot projects here. The local tourism commission said the production brings publicity to the small town, which is known for its horse, history, and hospitality. The movie will be released this winter and will be shown on the television station.
