Valley Christian baseball beat Cerritos with a flurry of runs at the end of their non-league baseball game at Cerrito High School on Thursday, April 9, 2026. The game was marked by a score of seven runs. The victory was largely attributed to a strong performance from Valley Christian's starting pitcher John Cardenas and a flurry in which both teams scored multiple runs. Cerriton's shortstop Alex Laurin was unable to hold on to the ball as Valley Christian’s Nico Villafana took second base safely in the game. The loss was part of a larger effort from the two teams.
