The Artemis II crew of the Orion capsule, known as "Integrity," will return to Earth from a record-breaking 10-day mission that saw the spacecraft circle the moon and reach farther into space than any other manned craft. The crew, including pilot Victor Glover, commander Reid Wiseman, mission specialist Christina Koch, and mission specialist Jeremy Hansen, broke the record for human spaceflight's farthest distance at 248,655 miles from Earth, previously set by the Apollo 13 mission in 1970. The Apollo team will complete their mission with a water landing in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of California on Friday night, April 10. The team will be joined by Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Steve Kapala, a member of the dive medical team that will open the Orion spacecraft upon its return to earth. The splashdown will be live streamed on NASA's YouTube channel and be watched by other services.
