Tesla has revoked its $29B interim pay package for CEO Elon Musk, after the Delaware Supreme Court restored his larger $56 billion compensation award from 2018. The company had given the interim package to Musk in August 2025 to hedge against the possibility of a rejection by the highest court. Tesla had previously stated that the interim payout would be voided if Musk successfully appealed. However, the company confirmed that the board voted without Musk or his brother, Kimbal Musk, and that the revocation of this interim award would not affect Musk's $1 trillion package. To access the full amount, Musk must meet several operational milestones and increase Tesla's valuation to over $8 trillion over the course of 10 years.
