ZDNET has compared two Linux distros, Zorin OS 18.1 and Solus, to a new release of Solus 4.9. Both platforms offer similar features but also offer different desktop environments and preinstalled software. While Solus is more compact and compact, Solus offers more features like Firefox, Thunderbird, LibreOffice, Rythmbox, Celluloid, gedit (text editor), and other features such as a graphical app store with Flatpak support for other apps like Slack and Spotify. However, the competition is still not without Photoshop. The article also discusses the ease and difficulty of finding an easy version of Linux for new users.
