The Red Hot Chili Peppers bass player, Flea, has released his debut solo album, Honora, which is a jazz album, a passion project, and a personal collection. The album was largely recorded in 2025 and features collaborations with Radiohead's Thom Yorke, Nick Cave, Ann Ronell, and interpretations of Frank Ocean and Shea Taylor's "Thinkin Bout You". Flea spent two years honing his skills on the trumpet, an instrument he loved in his youth. He enlisted a team of studio top guns, including album producer Josh Johnson, guitarist Jeff Parker, bassist Anna Butterss, and drummer Deantoni Parks. Honora is set to be released on Nonesuch Records on March 27.
