Three non-Equity theater productions, "Angels in America" and "The House That Will Not Stand," won at the 2026 Non-equity Jeff Awards at the 52nd anniversary event. "Jekyll & Hyde" by Kokandy Productions also won for best musical and ensemble of a musical. The winners were among 36 winners who took part in 27 different productions by Chicago-area non-union theater companies last year. A special Jeff was awarded to Kathy Scambiatterra, director and co-founder of The Artistic Home.
