Industry Min., Mercedez-Benz Egypt CEO discuss localizing automotive industry

Egypt's Minister of Industry, Khaled Hashem, met with a delegation from Mercedes-Benz Egypt, headed by CEO Stefanie Volz, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and expand the company's operations in the Egyptian market. The meeting also addressed promising investment opportunities in Egypt's automotive sector. The Minister highlighted the National Automotive Industry Development Program (AIDP) as a key strategy for attracting major international brands and localizing supporting industries as a priority. He also expressed readiness to assist with the company in overcoming any obstacles and ensuring the stability of its operations.
