Adva Lavie, accused of stealing valuables from guests at an Airbnb at Coachella, made a brief appearance before a Los Angeles judge on a misdemeanor charge related to allegedly missing her GPS monitoring ankle bracelet. Lavie's attorney, Lou Shapiro, argued that his client was not a flight risk despite not wearing her ankle bracelet when she was arrested. Despite this, a judge continued the case until Sept. 10 and set her bail at $20,000. Lavy will remain behind bars due to the missing ankle bracelet, a violation of her bail terms from her original arrest in March. Her arrest was for a new case related to the theft of two people renting an Air B and B at Coacachella in 2025.
