Shelvey ends playing career to manage UAE's Arabian Falcons

Former England footballer Jonjo Shelvey has retired from professional football at the age of 34 and instead taking over with the Arabian Falcons. He played for several Premier League teams, including Liverpool, Swansea City, Newcastle United and Nottinghamshire. The former footballer signed for the Arabian Falco in September from Burnley and made eight appearances for the club during the 2025-26 season.
