Police officers from the Sleepy Hollow Police Department responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of Randall Road and Technology Drive, which involved a heavily damaged 2024 Yamaha motorcycle and a Subaru Forester. The motorcyclist, identified as 21-year-old Caden Palka, was transported to Sherman Hospital where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the Subaru, 22-years-old Maya Sobolewski, was treated at St. Joseph Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Early indications suggest speed and aggressive or reckless driving may have been factors in the crash.
