Paul Rudd, Nick Jonas Get Violent as Songwriting Goes Wrong in ‘Power Ballad’ Trailer

The comedy feature Power Ballad, directed by John Carney, has been released by Lionsgate and will be released on June 5. The film centers on wedding singer Rick and former boy band member Danny as they work on music together. The pair's professional relationship gets off-key in the trailer, with Rudd expressing his admiration for Jonas and his desire to have his music recognised. The movie is produced by Anthony Bregman, Peter Cron, Rebecca O’Flanagan, and Robert Walpole.
