The UK's Royal Television Society (RTS) has announced Sophie Jones as its CEO, replacing Theresa Wise who is retiring after 13 years. Jones joins from the British Phonographic Industry trade body, which organizes the Brit and Mercury Prize awards. She will oversee the Society's educational activities, awards, conventions, national and regional centres, and membership community. The next big event is RTS London, which will be held in partnership with Amazon.
