DOJ opens investigation into alleged assault against a journalist during anti-ICE protest

A Justice Department official has announced that a federal investigation is being launched into an assault allegedly occurred outside the Whipple Federal Building in Minnesota during a protest. The victim, Savanah Hernandez, a Turning Point USA contributor, claims she was "brutally assaulted by multiple people" during the protest. Three people were arrested for the assault, and a fourth person was for obstructing with force against a deputy officer. No official charges have been filed yet.
