The $500-million mixed-use Belle Oaks Markteplace development in Richmond Heights, Ohio, is under construction on the first phase of the $3 billion Belle Oaks development. Darren Schnee, the Belle Oaks project manager and vice president of California-based developer DealPoint Merrill, told council that several businesses have been attracted to the development, including Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, and Starbucks. While deals with these companies have not yet been "inked," Schnee indicated that there is a strong possibility they will be coming to Belle Oaks. A traffic study will be conducted to ensure that traffic disruptions around Belle Oaks will not be disrupted. The three deluxe apartment buildings are scheduled to be completed in early October, 2026, and Building Two in March of 2027. Amenities exclusive to residents of these buildings will include a community room, game room, small lounge, and a fitness area that includes a sauna.
