Jónsdóttir, Angel City FC hand Bay FC a humbling 3-1 defeat at home

Icelandic forward Sveindís Jónsdóttir scored two goals and an assist as Angel City FC defeated Bay FC 3-1. This was the first real test for Bay FC under new coach Emma Coates. The game was held at PayPal Park in San Jose, with 10,300 fans watching. Despite a strong performance from Angel City, Bay FC was unable to equalize. The team was playing without star forward Racheal Kundananji due to an upper left leg injury.
