Severe storms are possible through the evening in Kansas City metro, with a cooler and drier weekend ahead. The potential storms will move east through the region until 11 p.m. or midnight, with damaging wind, large hail, and damaging wind also possible. A severe tornado watch is in effect for areas north of the metro, including areas along the Orange Line. A strong thunderstorm is expected to continue throughout the evening. The weather is also expected to increase, with temperatures expected to reach the mid- and upper 50s on Monday and Tuesday. After the weekend, temperatures will reach mid-50s and temperatures will be in the upper 60s to upper 70s.
