Sony Music, USC settle copyright lawsuit over social media posts

Sony Music (6758.T) has settled its lawsuit against the University of Southern California (USC), alleging that it used more than 170 of its songs without permission in videos promoting the school's athletics program. The lawsuit was filed last year, alleging that 283 videos featuring songs from artists including Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and AC/DC were used without licenses. However, the university has dismissed these claims in January.
