KCSOS school employee pleads not guilty to child molestation charges

A Kern County Superintendent of Schools (KCSOS) employee, Escudero-Mendoza, has been charged with child molestation and possession of child sexual abuse material. The charges were brought after a report of inappropriate behavior at Chipman Junior High School. The defendant, who is hearing impaired, was assisted in court by an ASL interpreter. The Bakersfield Police Department has not disclosed any additional information regarding the charges.
