The Emerald Summit, a STEAM conference, showcased the next generation of STEAM leaders and featured research and exhibits from various disciplines. The event was led by Dr. Bernard Kress, a key architect behind Google Glass and HoloLens, who currently serves as Google’s Engineering Executive for Extended Reality. The conference was also hosted by over 30 professionals from industry, academia, and public service. The students were responsible for event planning, hospitality, outreach, and individual tracks. The summit was also supported by parent volunteers and the Emerald High School Academic Foundation.
