The episode of "St. Denis Medical" included a major development in the relationship between nurses Matt (Mekki Leeper) and Serena (Kahyun Kim). The pair had previously been friends and worked together on the show. The episode ended with Matt kissing Serena, setting up a new storyline with Ron (David Alan Grier) and Joyce. The show has already been renewed for a third season and Kim and Leeper are excited to explore their relationship at the hospital. The first two seasons of the show are available to stream on Netflix.
