Major storms in Northwest Miami-Dade have caused significant damage to the Palm Springs North neighborhood, leaving a dilapidated building and uprooted trees. One tree fell onto a family car, temporarily blocking the road. The National Weather Service attributed the damage to straight-line winds. No one was injured in the incident, but Florida Power & Light responded to the scene to restore power for those affected. The storm occurred in the area of Northwest 78th Avenue and 181st Street.
