Fairbanks man dead, woman in custody after fatal stabbing

Fairbanks man Jonathan Wright, 42, died after suffering a stab wound to his chest, according to the Fairbanks Police Department (FPD). His significant other, Audrey Sheldon, has been charged with his murder. The initial report claimed that Wright's wound was self-inflicted, but FPD Chief Ron Dupee stated that Sheldon's story changed multiple times during questioning. Dupee encouraged witnesses to be honest during questioning and provided details of the incident.
