Family preserves Chester County officer’s legacy after motorcycle accident

Cody Hyre, a law enforcement officer in Chester County, South Carolina, died in a motorcycle accident in 2025. His family is commemorating his legacy by hosting a fundraiser in his honor and hope it will inspire others to live the way he did. The event, "Cruise In for Cody Hyre," will be held at Cornerstone Family Worship Center in York at 1090 Black Highway. The family hopes the event will inspire young people to live like their son did.
