Pupils tackle sports gender stereotypes with Guernsey athletes

The sessions at La Houguette School in Guernsey have been held to address stereotypes about the role of sports in which players are encouraged to participate. The sessions have been led by athletes from athletics, cricket, rugby and football, who have been speaking about the importance of playing and ensuring everyone feels included. The school has seen a change in behaviour during lunch times, with girls and boys playing "respectfully with each other".
