Teen Arrested in Deadly School Prank Speaks Out After Charges Against Him, Others Are Dropped

The prank prank involving Georgia high school math teacher and golf coach, Jason Hughes, ended in a tragic accident when Jayden Wallace, 18, drove to Hughes' home and was hit by Hughes' truck, causing him to fall onto wet pavement and die. Wallace was charged with vehicular homicide, a felony, reckless driving, and a misdemeanor, while four other students, Elijah Owens, Aiden Hucks, Ana Luque and Ariana Cruz, all 18, were charged with misdemeanor counts of criminal trespassing and littering. On Friday, District Attorney Lee Darragh announced that he was dropping all charges against the teens involved in the incident. The incident occurred during a competitive game outside the home of Hughes, a tradition at North Hall High School.
