A teenage boy was seriously burned and flown to the hospital after a firework may have ignited a vehicle fire in Lake County, Illinois. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday night. Fire crews from the Fox Lake Fire Protection District and the Lakemoor Police Department found the boy with serious burn injuries and transported him to Northwestern Hospital in McHenry. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
