After a period of unsettled weather in Northeast Ohio, a gradual warmup is expected to occur through midweek before the next round of storms is expected. High pressure will keep conditions dry through early Thursday, offering a brief break from recent snow showers and gusty winds. Afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 40s, still below normal for late March, with light winds turning southerly. A noticeable warmup begins on Wednesday, with temperatures expected to reach near 60 degrees. However, some storms could be strong, particularly in western Ohio. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop Thursday afternoon and continue into the evening, with additional activity possible into Thursday night.
