A spring storm is expected to bring widespread rain, gusty winds, and higher elevation snow to the mountains on Tuesday. The morning commute will be rainy with heavy pockets at times, followed by showers by the afternoon. The evening commute will remain mostly dry with spotty showers, and an isolated thunderstorm is possible. The strongest south/west gusts are expected to develop, with gusts of 20 to 30 mph at times. Mount Vernon, Bellingham, Anacortes, Friday Harbor, Port Townsend, Ocean Shores, La Push, Grays Harbor, Queets, Quillayute, Westport, and Neah Bay are all under a wind advisory for the risk of downed tree limbs and power outages.
