First spring all about learning and growing for No. 2 prospect Anderson

Marcher prospect Anderson, ranked as the Mariners' No. 2 prospect and MLB Pipeline's No. 21 overall, had a successful start to the season with a homer surrendered to Hernández and a strikeout to Alex Call in the third inning. Despite this setback, Anderson went on to retire eight of his final 10 batters and maintain his focus on helping the team in the game. These performances are particularly telling for Anderson, who is just nine months away from being the No. 3 overall pick in the MLB Draft and could potentially help the Mariners in the Majors in 2026. His first spring game was held in the Cactus League, where he was able to learn from the players and learn from them.
