The European Union has met with Chinese officials to discuss forced labor, dangerous products, and other issues with the country's e-commerce industry. This is part of a wider effort to curb the volume of dangerous products coming into the EU from China and balance digital trade. The European Parliament's Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (ISP) is on its first mission in eight years.
